Friday, February 18, 2011. Last Saturday the Berrys threw a little shindig for us at the Crescent Moon. One of our favorite restaurants in Hickory. We will miss it! So many friends and family came to show us their support. We were so encouraged by their presense and their many kind words. Makes it that much more difficult to say goodbye to this place and these people. O how I know it! Block you from reading any of our updates! Please come see us! .

Monday, September 5, 2011. 1st solo vacation since our honeymoon. We got coffee at the very 1st Starbucks. On Monday night we went up in the Space Needle. Great views of the city and the water. It was gorgeous atypical Seattle weather the whole time we were there. Sunny in the 70s early 80s and slight breeze. It was about a 4 hour hike and the views were breath taking! There were pretty flowers and snow. We had a great time on ou.
